Many, many years ago, when I was a young 20-something-baby newspaper photographer I met Josh who was also a newbie photographer with a love for photographing UNH hockey games. I would see him when I was on assignment at the games and we became photos buddies. Fast forward many, many years to the future and Josh becomes roomates with Jason. Jason also shares a love of hockey. Off to a Frozen Four they go and Jason meets Vanessa. The rest is history. Since Josh was not able to photograph the wedding (a hard task to accomplish when you are also a groomsman) he sent them my way, (THANKS FOR THAT!!!!) I guess is you back track, my relationship with Jason and Vanessa also had it’s roots in hockey 🙂

It was such a perfect fall day and a perfect venue. The foliage was some of the best we saw this year. Something about foliage and white picket fences gives me the warm and fuzzies!

Megan and Justin’s day was full of firsts for us!  Being a wedding photographer, we tend to visit the same locations over and over again.  I always take that as a challenge to not get comfortable and to find new and unique ways to see the same location with each couple … but … I always get a little excited when we are going to new locations because it’s like a blank canvas to me!  These two provided us with the most beautiful locations (and people!) to photograph!  We started the day with a first look and some photos at the Rose Garden in Lynch Park.  Oh.  My.  Goodness!!!  We were blown away by this place.  It sits right on the water, has some really cool architectural elements and still had some amazing flowers in bloom.  Justin proposed to Megan on a bench in this park, so it also held some extra special meaning to them.  After we finished photos at the park, we went over to their venue, The Estate at Moraine Farm, where we continued to be impressed with the scenery.  We have never been there before and are looking forward to hopefully going back in the future.

Kassie and Adam are two peas in a pod. They just work! During their first look they both bit their lip the same way during the anticipation of seeing eachother for the first time. It was cuteness overload! Poor Adam woke up with a terrible cold the morning of the wedding, but he didn’t let that stop him from having a great time and loving on his bride. (Not sure if Kassie ended up with that cold a few days later?)

We started the day getting ready at Zorvino Vineyard and after the first look had a great time walking around taking photos, laughing with family and wedding party (and trying to stay warm! brrrr it was cold!). Then it was over to United Methodit Church in Londonderry to say I do! It was a beautiful ceremony which ended with the couple being suprised by family with a chauffeured ride in style back to the vineyard to celebrate their new marriage!

Jennifer and Jason are seriously just too cute for words!  They, like so many others now, decided to do a first look and OH WOW! am I so happy they did.  The grounds at Tewksbury Country Club are gorgeous and we captured some amazing images there after the ceremony in light that makes photographers drool, but Red Wing Conservation area in Chelmsford Ma, where they did their first look, was nothing short of breath taking!  It was the perfect canvas for beautiful images, it was nice and private so we didn’t have to worry about people in the back ground and it suited Jennifer and Jason perfectly.  Take a look, you’ll see what I mean.

Anyone who knows me knows I love weddings. They are all unique and special in their own way and I love that! Every so often we get to work with couples we have an extra special relationship with … in this case, Devon is Mike’s cousin (well, technically, her father is Mike’s cousin, which makes her his second cousin?) Most of Mike’s family were guests and it was wonderful to get to see them all celebrating such an amazing couple. The big day took place at Castle in the Clouds which boasts some of the best views in New Hampshire. I highly recommend everyone puts it on their must visit list if you have never been!

We first met Laura and Kenny a few years ago when we photographed her sister Michele’s wedding. Growing up with only a sister, I loved seeing Laura’s relationship with her sisters. You can tell they all have a lot of fun together 🙂 That theme of fun was carried on throughout the entire day. Laura and Kenny did a first look at The Renaissance Golf Club and from that time on the smiles and laughter never stopped. Laura even won some more love by letting all the guys ditch their jackets on the hot day. They rolled up their sleeves, pinned boutenierres on their vests and totally rocked the more casual look!

We had so much fun with everyone and hope to see you all again. Maybe next year? 😉

Blair and Todd are my kind of people 🙂 They are super fun, super relaxed, love the mountains and live music and, most importantly, having a good time! The White Mountains of NH are my happy place. I grew up camping right down the road from The Woodstock Station Inn and Brewery and just love the area, so when they started doing weddings I couldn’t wait to work there and have another excuse to visit! We can’t wait to go back 🙂

Caroline and Devin had an amazing July 4 wedding at Seacoast Science Center in Rye, NH. What I love most about these two is their love for eachother! It was so inspiring to witness.
Mother Nature tried to throw a wrench into their plans with rain before the ceremony, but they didn’t let that stop them from having the ocean wedding of their dreams! It was actually pretty magical! The rain drops stopped just as they said I do 🙂

Kristina & Brandon had an amazing wedding at Church Landing in Meredith, NH. The pair are so easy going and fun to be around, we never once felt like we were “working”. I loved the color palette of cranberry and grey! The girls flowers complimented eachother so well!
After the wedding the duo left for their honeymoon to one of my favorite places ever! Mal Pais, Costa Rica! I’m so excited to hear if they enjoyed it as much as I did!

Wedding season is in full swing and with that comes all the guess work with Mother Nature. I always tell our couples that Mother Nature is something you can’t control, so to try not to worry about it too much. Of course that doesn’t stop people from checking the weather every 30 minutes in the weeks leading up to the big day, but Kristen and Greg’s wedding is the perfect example why worrying about it is fruitless. The entire week leading up to the wedding the weather report said that it was a 100% chance of rain. Even the night before that was the forcast … as you can tell by the photos the forcast was very, very wrong. The day was gorgeous. Perfect skies, gorgeous sun shining and no rain. (at least not until much later in the evening!) Take that Mother Nature 🙂
