When a couple tells you in their pre-wedding meeting that they want to incorporate rock climbing into their wedding photos you know you are in for a fun day!  Bridget and Joe didn’t disappoint.  After their first look, they changed out their snazzy wedding shoes for their rock climbing shoes and had a quick bouldering session on Loon’s rock climbing wall.  It was obvious that fun, laughter and adventure are a big part of their lives and I don’t see that changing anytime soon!

We have been so lucky this year to have so many weddings booked at Loon Mountain, and even luckier that they have all been with such amazing couples. Kate and Seth were no exception. Mother Nature didn’t want to cooperate but they made the (right) choice to have the wedding at the summit regardless. In doing so, they actually got married in a cloud! How many couples can say that??? It was truly amazing. To top it off, just as they were saying their vows, the clouds parted and guests were treated to the gorgeous views that Loon Mountain is so popular for.

We are so thankful to have been able to play a part in their day!

Chynna and Zac had a picture perfect day at Loon Mountain! I can’t put my finger on what made it so perfect, maybe it was the location (Loon has fast become one of our favorite places to take photos at!), maybe it was the bride and her drop dead gorgeous dress or the groom and his darth vadar cuff links, maybe it was the cowboys boots and blue dresses that perfectly matched the sky, or maybe it was everything together that made the day absolutely amazing. We are so lucky to have been a part of it!

New Hampshire in the summertime is one of the most beautiful places in the world.  When we were invited to photograph Mary and Ian’s wedding at the summit of Loon Mountain, I couldn’t wait to get there.  Friends and family traveled via gondola to the top of the mountain and were treated to breathtaking views as they spoke their vows.

This was our first time at The Loon Mountain Club, and the event staff was so easy to work with and so helpful.

Everyone had a great time on the dance floor, sharing special dances with the children and each other.  Mary’s niece even fell asleep on her father’s shoulders!

I met Mary many years ago while working with her at a local school.  We actually apparently met many, many, many years before that, as I was friends with her sister in high school, but I don’t think either one of us remembers that 😉  It was such an honor to be a part of their special day.  Both Mike and I wish you every happiness and lots of love.  XXOO.
