Can we talk for a minute about Shauna’s dress??? It was breath taking! In all my years photographing weddings, I’ve never seen anything like it. It fit her perfectly and was nothing short of spectacular against the Lake Winnapausakee backdrop!

So anyone that knows Mike and I knows we shoot weddings together.  No exceptions.  Well, circumstances and stars aligned that for Megan and Lennox’s wedding, we were able to make an exception.  Guys … I’ll tell you now, I was terrified … but I think I hid it well 🙂 .

Megan grew up watching weddings on the Church Landing lawn from her boat on the lake.  The love for the area that she and her family have was evident in their faces as they all took in the fact that today, Megan and Lennox got to be the bride and groom on the dock.

They really made those docks look good!

Stephanie and Stephen had a beautifully intimate ceremony with only their closest family (and us of course!) with them.  After the ceremony we took a walk around the grounds of Church Landing before meeting up with their guests for a reception in the Carriage House.  I loved the intimacy the time line of their day allowed and felt honored to be a part of it.

The way Rachel and Josh look at one another is a rare thing. I dare you to look through this post and not feel your heart grow two sizes. I’m going to let their grace and elegance speak for itself.

To say these girls know how to have a good time is an understatement!  Their wedding happen to the be the day a NorEaster rolled through … they didn’t let it phase them!  Instead, they grabbed umbrellas and ran out into the wind and rain for some of the most memorable images … and a few hysterical moments that will forever be part of their wedding day stories (almost getting blown over!!) …  Their umbrellas almost immediately blew inside out and still no panic, only laughter and smiles all night long.  Their energy was contagious and we were so happy to be there to experience the night with them.

There was also the amazing moment Nicole’s father surprised her by walking her down the isle and dancing the father daughter dance without his cane.  Wow.

What a moment this was.

I think I just need to let the photos speak for themselves with Rachel and John’s wedding. This is why I love New Hampshire in the fall. The foliage was absolutely breath taking and we even got a few flurries. We really couldn’t have asked for anything else!

Bailey and Chris had a gorgeous day at The Margate on Lake Winnipesaukee.  Mother Nature kept us on our toes all day, but held off until the end of the night which worked out amazingly for the fireworks image!  You wouldn’t think fireworks and rain would go together, but in our case … WOW!  They also had the amazing treat of having country singer Jimmie Allen fly in and sing their first dance songs!  It’s not every day you get a song currently on the charts sung live at your wedding!

There were so many wonderful things about Melissa and Michael’s big day!  First they are just good people and the area was beautiful, but the two incorporated so many great details.  Melissa’s flowers, yes, her flowers, were made of wood!  Seriously, check them out.  I have never seen anything like them; they were so light weight and colorful!  Melissa also made ALL of the desserts and I can tell you they were sooo good!  There was also the gorp bar and fireworks to end the night.  It was a perfect day!

Pastries and decorations were all handmade by Melissa and her mother.

Kate and Matt have one of those stories that just makes your heart go “Awwww!”  It all started at the airport.  Kate is a rule follower and will not board until her zone is called so she was waiting her turn and in rolls Matt right into line without a care in the world.  Kate notices his line-cutting (as well as his good looks) and makes her own silent judgements.  When Kate’s zone is called she joins the line and as she approaches her seat guess who her seat mate was???  … already sitting because he cut the line 😉    The rest is history.

They had a beautifully intimate wedding in the backyard Kate grew up playing in.  The day could not have been more perfect!

The day was filled with pinks and blues, even Ali’s dress had a gorgeous blush undertone, and not a single detail was over looked.  The thought that Ali and Lance put into their big day was nothing short of amazing.  They truly made their best day ever come to life and we were honored to be there and capture it for them!
