I first met Charbel roughly 13 years ago shortly after Mike proposed to me.  Mike had my ring made by an unnamed jeweler and after he proposed I sheepishly told him I thought the diamond was loose.  (I was afraid I’d sound like I was complaining!)  He decided to bring it to a different jeweler who completely remade it.  That jeweler was Charbel.  My ring is still as beautiful as ever with no loose stones!   Throughout the years, we developed a great professional relationship where I even used the office in his store for meetings before I had my own space.   When he contacted me about photographing his marriage to Nehmat, I was so excited that we were available.  They had an amazing celebration at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Boston.  They are both from Lebanon and I loved seeing their culture brought to life throughout the day in both singing and dancing (Even though I had no clue what anyone was saying 😉 ..)   complete with a belly dancer!  The energy was so full of laughter and j0y (and a bit of chaos 😉 …)  We are so thankful we were able to be a part of it.
