What a day! Meghan and David had one of those days where we were dancing with Mother Nature all day. We managed to get all photos done before she let loose and left the most beautiful storm clouds in her wake (which we of course had to take advantage of!).
A big thank you to the newlyweds for trusting us to document such a special day!! It was an honor!
We first met Jillian when she was a wedding coordinator at Loon Mountain, a venue we frequent. It was such an honor when she reached out to ask us to photograph her wedding to Jonathan. There is no bigger form of flattery! They had their wedding at The Alerin Barn in Vermont, and the venue was AMAZING! Check out their website and read a little about their story, I love that the barn is named after the owners two daughters. We can’t wait to visit again.
Now, about Jillian and Jonathan. I can’t write this post without mentioning her eyes. Seriously, look at them! They glow. Their wedding happened to be on one of the crazy hot days we’ve had this summer but they didn’t let that stop them from having an amazing time! Guests enjoyed lawn games, smores around the fire and a dance party on the lawn. It’s hard not to smile when you are surrounded by people having so much fun!
Thank you both for including us in such a special day!
We first met Melissa and Andy at Melissa’s sister’s wedding last November. We loved their family instantly and were so excited when Melissa reached out shortly after to talk to us about photographing her big day. Melissa and Andy had a very intimate wedding, with just their closest family and friends at The new Grand Hotel at The Bedford Village Inn. I LOVED how they set the room with one long family table. The way the table was dressed was just so elegantly perfect for the setting.
The couple was surrounded with love (and lots and lots of HAPPY tears) all day. I even got choked up during the ceremony when Melissa read her vows to Andy’s son, Owen. I don’t think there was a dry eye to be found!
Christine and Brian had a beautiful wedding at Squantum Association in Providence, RI. I love venues with history and character and Squantum is full of both. Even with Mother Nature being a little moody we were able to squeeze in some time walking around the property before the rain set in. After the cocktail hour, Christine and Brian even got to shoot off a cannon. What a way to kick off the evening! Thank you so much for inviting us to be a part of your special day.
What happens when two Irish families have a wedding on Saint Patrick’s Day?? Pure awesomeness, that’s what! Erin and Dan actually grew up down the street from one another and now own a home in the same neighborhood. Even braving the extreme cold temperatures on the beach for photos, Erin never stopped smiling with Dan. Her smile was one of those pure, real straight from the soul smiles. Thier friendship and happiness was undeniable and it was an honor to be there to document it!
Venue: Union Bluff Meeting House, York, Me

Erin and Dan as littles!!!

2017 was such an amazing year! It was no easy task to sit down and pick out favorites. I kept getting lost in each wedding, reflecting on my own memories, and feeling so lucky to have so many amazing couples trust us to document one of the most important days of their lives. Here is a look back on the last 12 months. I hope you enjoy reminiscing as much as I did!
Katie is a self proclaimed Christmas fanatic, so it was only fitting for her and Dan to have a winter wedding and incorporate so many of the things Katie loves. Their beautiful day began the cold spell NH has been having, but no one let it phase them as we took advantage of the gorgeous scenerey Zorvinos has to offer. The pop of red from Katie’s shawl was the perfect touch, not only to provide JUST A LITTLE warmth( I won’t lead anyone to believe it kept her warm lol), but it was an amazing pop of color in the snow and Katie got the winter wonderland photos she has always wanted. We were so thrilled to be a part of their special day and can not wait to see what the futire has in store!!!!
The way Jennifer and Andrew looked at each other when they laughed just melted your heart. The pair met many years ago as campers at St. Methodios Faith and Heritage Center where they both continued on to work together as councilors. It was only fitting that their wedding take place on the same grounds they had already spent so much time together. You could tell that they felt very at home there. It was one of the first really chilly days of the season, but they braved it out with their wedding party to catch some images with the last of the fading foliage. The day couldn’t have gone better and we were honored to be a part of it!
Mary and Jay couldn’t have had a more perfect day! Early Novemeber is an unpredictable time of year in New England, but one thing you can usually count on is that the foliage will mostly have passed. This year, I think they had some of the best color I have seen. The reds and oranges in Victory Park in Manchester looked like they were on fire. It was breath taking. We got even luckier with a gorgeous sunset over the city followed by a night of laughing and celebrating. Thank you so much for including us!
To say that I was excited when Stacy and Adam chose us to be their wedding photographers is an understatment. I think I first met Stacy when she was in the 5th grade when my family moved to Auburn. Living in a small town, everyone knows everyone and I always love photographing weddings for fellow “Auburnites” There was also the random connection to Adam and one of my closest friends. I just knew this was going to be a wedding not to miss. I couldn’t have been more right. Photographing these two was a breeze. So in love and it shows in every photo. The way they look at eachother will make your heart flutter.
Thank you so much for having us!
