There is something so beautiful about a bride and groom’s “first look”.  The bride quietly walks up behind her groom.  As he hears her approaching, he turns to see her for the first time.   His (and her) expressions range from surprise and delight to joy and expectation, and we were honored to capture all of it for Heidi and Gary.

They were married on a beautiful day – really one of the first nice days in a while – after their first look, we walked to the edge of Lake Winnipesaukee in Meredith for some photos.  They had so many fun moments during the ceremony and reception including a ring bearer dressed as a pirate!  Their wedding cake portrayed them as “two peas in a pod” and we couldn’t agree more.

We were so thrilled to be a part of Jenna and Tom’s wedding, held at the LaBelle Winery.  There were so many special touches and moments to capture – the bride and groom opening their gifts, the amazing sunset, the friends congratulating them as everyone danced and danced.  Scrolling through their photos brings us back to how much they incorporated laughter and fun into their wedding.

They thought of everything at the reception and even had a Ben & Jerry’s stand and a cigar bar!  They are obviously a couple who loves each other very much and also love their friends and family.  We wish them much joy in their new life together – XXOO, Becca & Mike

Can you tell that Tom liked his watch?

One of the interesting things about being a wedding photographer is seeing how each wedding is so unique and personal.  So much thought has gone into creating a sacred space for the couple, and their friends and family surround them with love and support.  We loved how Anna and Aaron accomplished this through their recent wedding at Zorvino Vineyards!

The couple’s cocktail reception, complete with sliders and macaroni and cheese bar, was a huge hit and the dance floor was packed all night.  As you scroll through the photos you can see the pure joy on everyone’s faces.  We also thought the Hava Nagila, the Hora chair dance, and the Ketubah signing were perfect touches.

A New Hampshire Summer Wedding at The Common Man and Italian Farmhouse

Sarah & Matthew had a beautiful wedding with the ceremony at the Italian Farmhouse and their reception at The Common Man in Plymouth, NH. Their cake was by Jacques Pastries, the flowers by Lotus Floral Design (gorgeous as usual!), and the brides jewelry was from Windham Jewelers.

They did their first look with a balloon release and their joy at seeing each other was so fun to capture! The outdoor scenery included green fields, a covered bridge, and a rustic railroad tracks.  The last photo of their embrace during an amazing sunset is one of our favorites.  We wish you much love and happiness.  XXOO!

A New Hampshire Wedding at Brookstone Park

We were thrilled to be a part of Genesis & Michael’s wedding, held at Brookstone Park in Derry, NH.  It was a beautiful spot for the event and included flowers by Ford Flowers, cake by Jacques Pastries and music by DJ Tommy Demers of Get Down Tonight.  The bride’s jewelry was done by Jareds.  Genesis and Michael make a great couple and seem deeply in love. We wish them all the happiness in the world in their new life together.  Much Love XOXO.

Kristy and Eric’s wedding was a little extra special since I grew up in the same small town as Eric and although we didn’t really “know” each other in high school, I did graduate with Kristy.  I was so thrilled when I got a Facebook message from Eric asking about their wedding!  Anyone who knows Eric knows he’s not a real serious guy and he can definitely keep you laughing.  Their wedding day was no different.  It was such an honor to be able to document such a special day for two such amazing people.

I had been looking forward to Jen and Chris’ wedding for over a year!  What’s more fun than a New Year’s Eve wedding?  Even more awesome was it was at an amazing venue, with an amazing DJ (Who we are also fortunate to be working with next New Year’s Eve).
