Natalie and Eric ….and of course Frannie, we can’t forget Frannie and her matching veil … had a gorgeous day on the summit of Loon Mountain. Natalie wore the same dress and veil that her mother wore to marry her father … and it fit perfectly and was still timeless in style! The sentiment was so moving, and I loved watching her father watch quietly from the corner as she finished getting ready.

And any reception that involves crowd surfing is a reception I can get behind! What a great day! Thank you for including us!

We couldn’t have chosen a better couple to finish off our season at Loon Mountain this year. Katie and Peter were such a joy to be around! Katie was such a trooper with the frigid mountain top temps, shivering through the ceremony and hanging tough through photos after! (at one point, we used lipstick to cover up her blue lips!!) Christyn + Dustin | Loon Mountain Wedding | NH Wedding Photography

Anyone who knows me knows I love all weddings, but there was something a little extra special about Christyn and Dustin’s big day. We first met Chistyn almost 7 years ago when she was an assistant in our oldest son’s first grade class. He is going into 8th grade this year! A couple years later, she was the assistant in our youngest son’s kindergarten class. From there she became our weekend nanny, so we got to know her fairly well and our boys adore her. We couldn’t have been happier when she asked us to photograph her wedding. We always feel like we are hanging out with friends when we are working, but in Christyn and Dustin’s case, we really were. Watching the two of them laugh together there was no doubt they are meant to be.

I just LOVE autumn in New Hampshire. We really do live in one of the most beautiful parts of the country. Emma and Parker had the most amazing fall day at Loon Mountain. The foliage was breath taking and the air was crisp. Those are my favorite kind of days. The way these two interacted all day was so heart warming. I didn’t have to give any direction at all, they were so focused on each other. I never felt like I was “posing” them, just capturing them being them … and they are crazy cute together!

Kathryn + Jeremy | Loon Mountain, NH Wedding | New Hampshire Wedding Photographer

We are just loving all the time we get to spend at Loon Mountain this summer! Next summer is looking to be much of the same. It has fast become one of our favorite places to be and Kathryn and Jeremy’s big day was no different. The weather was looking a little iffy but they decided to go for the mountain top ceremony which allowed them to get married literally in the clouds. It’s such an amazing thing to see. Their vows were so touching, written by them, from the heart. Jeremy almost made me cry with his words. Their love was palpable to everyone in attendence. Since we didn’t have much of a view at the top, we quickly jumped on the Gondola after the ceremony for some photos down by the river followed by the reception in the Octogon lodge with DJ Jeremy from Get Down Tonight Entertainment.

Thank you to the lovely couple for choosing us to document such a special day! We can’t wait to see where life brings you next.
