Meredith and Tyler have a storybook history with one another.  We have photographed high school sweethearts before, but this was a first for first grade sweethearts 🙂 They grew up together and spent many childhood days playing and searching the woods for deer antlers. Tyler actually said, in 3rd grade, that he would marry Meredith one day.  He knew back then that she was the only girl for him!  They officially got together when they were 15 and have been together ever since. Their day was a wonderful celebration of their love and we were so happy to be a part of it.

What an amazing day Janice and Mike had for their wedding at Camp Ogontz.  This was our second time photographing a wedding here (the first being Mike’s best man’s wedding a few years ago!) and I seriously consider it a little hidden piece of Heaven on Earth.  From the cabins, to the views, to the barn everything about it is so peaceful and amazing.  It was a perfect fit to Janice and Mike’s laid back, fun-loving personalities.  This venue really lends itself to couples who want a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy the day with family and friends, which is exactly what Janice and Mike did.  It was a privilege to be there to document it.

There is something so special about weddings that take place at private residences.  I love all the personal touches that couples are able to add making the wedding so much more their own.  Laura and Sean got married at her family’s property in Wolfeboro, NH.  After the ceremony the lovely couple, along with their wedding party, hopped into a couple boats for a quick trip around the lake as guests made their way to cocktail hour.  Tables were set up so that guests could all enjoy a view of the lake over dinner followed by a night of dancing in the house.

What an amazing day Liana and David had for their wedding at Willowdale Estate in Topsfield, Ma.  A bit warm for early September, but in New England, we all know Mother Nature is wildly unpredictable, so a day with no rain and blue skies is a win!  These two were just so much fun to spend the day with.  Both so relaxed and easy going with amazing families and friends.  I’m not sure it gets much better.  We started with a first look in the conservation area next to Willowdale where the light was absolutely heavenly and then met up with bridal party and family to finish up photos before the ceremony.  One of the (many) benefits of doing a first look is that once the ceremony was over, Liana and David were able to join right in with their guests for cocktail hour.  It’s great to get that extra time to say hello and give some extra hugs.  From cocktail hour they went into the reception under the tent where the band Young Love and The Thrills completely rocked the party.

When the bride walks down the isle to the Star Wars theme song and the groom’s vows include bits of Game of Thrones, Star Wars and Star Trek you know you  have a pretty amazing couple destined for big things.  They may never settle the debate of which is better … Star Wars or Star Trek but I have no doubt that they will take the galaxy by storm either way!  thank you so much for including us in your special day!

Pamela and Adam had an amazing day filled with lots of fun and energy!!  The day started with a first look in downtown Newburyport.  Their wedding party joined us for photos around town before heading over to Blue Ocean Event Center in Salisbury.  This was our first time working there and we were so impressed!  What a gorgeous location right on the ocean.  They got married inside with beautiful views of the Atlantic and had a dance filled reception following.  There was definitely no shortage of people having a good time!  We wish you many more years of continued dance parties, love and laughter.

I first met Charbel roughly 13 years ago shortly after Mike proposed to me.  Mike had my ring made by an unnamed jeweler and after he proposed I sheepishly told him I thought the diamond was loose.  (I was afraid I’d sound like I was complaining!)  He decided to bring it to a different jeweler who completely remade it.  That jeweler was Charbel.  My ring is still as beautiful as ever with no loose stones!   Throughout the years, we developed a great professional relationship where I even used the office in his store for meetings before I had my own space.   When he contacted me about photographing his marriage to Nehmat, I was so excited that we were available.  They had an amazing celebration at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Boston.  They are both from Lebanon and I loved seeing their culture brought to life throughout the day in both singing and dancing (Even though I had no clue what anyone was saying 😉 ..)   complete with a belly dancer!  The energy was so full of laughter and j0y (and a bit of chaos 😉 …)  We are so thankful we were able to be a part of it.

We are just loving all the time we get to spend at Loon Mountain this summer! Next summer is looking to be much of the same. It has fast become one of our favorite places to be and Kathryn and Jeremy’s big day was no different. The weather was looking a little iffy but they decided to go for the mountain top ceremony which allowed them to get married literally in the clouds. It’s such an amazing thing to see. Their vows were so touching, written by them, from the heart. Jeremy almost made me cry with his words. Their love was palpable to everyone in attendence. Since we didn’t have much of a view at the top, we quickly jumped on the Gondola after the ceremony for some photos down by the river followed by the reception in the Octogon lodge with DJ Jeremy from Get Down Tonight Entertainment.

Thank you to the lovely couple for choosing us to document such a special day! We can’t wait to see where life brings you next.

We had a great time spending the day with Bridget, Matt and their families!  The day started out with some getting ready fun at Manchester Country Club for the girls and the Manchester Radisson for the guys.    I absolutely loved the classic look of the guys in their tuxes and the girls in their navy blue dresses with the pink accent flowers.  (Done by the fabulous PJ!) The ceremony followed at Saint Elizabeth Seton Church in Bedford, which was Bridget’s families church as she was growing up.  Once the two were officially Mr. and Mrs. we all head back to the Country Club for some more photos and the reception.  The band Wellfleet provided excellent entertainment and everyone was still dancing the night away when we left.  I don’t think they could have had a more perfect day!  (well, maybe a few degrees cooler for the guys … but they were troopers!)

Aly and James got married in her parents backyard.  This is the house Aly grew up in and it was so fitting that it be the location she got married at.   The back yard was transformed into, quite possibly, one of the most elegant wedding locations I have ever seen.   Aly’s mother has a very green thumb which shows in the details of the landscaping.  Every garden was perfectly manicured providing the most beautiful backdrop for these two love birds to wed.  We couldn’t be happier for them as they start this next chapter in their lives together.

A huge thank you to all the other amazing vendors who played such a big part in making James and Aly’s day so spectacular!
